How you all have been doing? Its been so long since I have posted on my blog. But nevertheless, now I am back and I have a whole lot of products to review and share my thoughts with you all. Today I am going to be reviewing L'oreal Hydra Fresh Night mask-in jelly which I have used for a month and now I am here to share with you my opinion on this new formula in the world of night creams.
What it is?
L'oreal Hydra Fresh mask-in jelly as the name suggest is a gel meant to hydrate your skin by wrapping it in an invisible mask and continuously delivering actives for mask level efficiency. Non sticky and non oily.

Ingredients
French Grape Polyphenols: Powerful antioxidant that helps to neutralize free radicals caused by daily aggressions.
French Vosges SPA Water: Naturally rich in minerals, helps to stimulate cell's vitality to strengthen skin barrier for an optimal hydration level.
My thoughts on the product
Loreal Hydra Fresh mask in jelly has a light texture which goes on very smoothly on the skin. Once it is dried, there is no stickiness or greasiness left behind. It will give a matte finish to your face.
Because of this matte finish, I will not recommend this to dry skin beauties as it will make your face feeling stretchy all night long, especially the area around the mouth and eyes.
The SA told me that I can also apply this generously and leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off, for instant hydration.
It did hydrate my skin to a great extent and got me rid of the dry patches around my mouth but other than that it did nothing for me. My skin felt hydrated but it didn't look healthy or glowing which I believe hydrated skin is supposed to look. Also I did not like the whole concept of overnight mask as it made my skin feel not being able to breathe as there was some sitting on it overnight. In the morning, after rinsing my face with water, I could feel that my skin is much more hydrated and soft to touch.
Overall, I did like the hydrating aspect of this product and that is the only claim it has made. So it was a fair deal for me.

- It does hydrate the skin very well making it soft to touch
- Will suit oily and combination skin beauties
- The packaging is nice and girly
- The price is not very high
- It did not break me out
- Did not impart glow to my face
- Mask like feeling overnight is not something I look forward to
- Not travel friendly because of glass jar
- Full ingredient list not mentioned
- Dry skin beauties will not like the stretchy feeling
Do I recommend this?
If you are fine with sleeping with a mask sort of feeling overnight, then go for it as this is a budget friendly option in this new concept of sleep in masks. Else you can completely skip this product.
