Today I will be reviewing the Forest Essentials Narangi and Nagkesar facial Ubtan. I had heard a lot about the Forest Essentials Ubtans but I was not sure about which one to buy. So after contemplating, I decided to go for the Narangi and Nagkesar one as its claims are what I was looking for. So let's get started with the review.

Narangi peel 28%, Marigold leaves 14%, Mulethi 10%, powder 8%, Nagkesar 7.5%, bala 6%, Brihati 6%, khas 6%, Vidari kand 5%, Ashwagandha 3%, Durva 2%, Neem sweet orange 2%, Brahmi 1%, Anantmool 1%, Camphor 0.5%.
Texture
The Ubtan comes in a powder form which you have to mix with rose-water if you have oily skin or yogurt if you have dry skin. The powder is not very fine and not very coarse, just exactly what a daily scrub should be like. It has a mild fragrance of orange peel which is not at all bothering.
Usage
You can use this as a cleanser on daily basis and it will not cause irritation of any sorts. But I personally do not use this as cleanser because it does not remove my makeup very effectively. It comes with a wooden spoon and you need half a spoon for your whole face and neck. I use it twice a week mixing with rose-water. It forms a thick paste like consistency.
After washing my face, I use it as a scrub and then I leave it on for half an hour. Once its dried, I rinse my face with cold water.
Effectiveness
After rinsing off this product, I see that my face looks instantly brightened. My pores are not that obvious and my skin looks firmer and refreshed. I can't tell the effects on fine lines as I don't have any. With consistent usage, it has also removed my tan to a great extent. Also I find that the pigmentation around my mouth and the blemishes have lightened a bit. May be I have to use it more to further lighten the marks and blemishes. Also it hasn't broken me out.
Overall, I am totally impressed with this product. You get a lot of product for the price and it's totally worth it. The ingredients are all natural. There are no harmful chemicals or parabens. The shelf life is 12 months but it will last for more than that so I use it on my elbows and hands also as I don't want to waste it.
