Hello Ladies
Today I will be going to review Sephore Rouge Cream lipstick- Sexy game R12. While I was browsing through some lipsticks in Sephora the other day, the SA asked me to try this shade. As soon as I applied this, 'Holy Cow!!! this looks amazing' was my reaction. Since the opening of Sephora in India, I always wanted to try their in house range but nothing ever intrigued me much. Also, Sephora is always so overwhelming that I just can't decide on one thing. So I always end up buying nothing from there. But this time I had my mum with me and she asked me to go for it and today I am here with a review on it.
What it is
A hydrating lipstick that creates full lips with intense color.
Price
INR 910 for 3.9g
Texture
Very smooth and creamy. Glides onto the lips very smoothly.
Pigmentation
Very good pigmentation. Gives full coverage in just one swipe. Will also show up on pigmented lips.
Shade
It is a very nice rosy pink shade with a hint of purple undertones. It will compliment Indian skin tones very well. From fair to medium to dusky, I think this shade would flatter everyone.
Staying power
It stays for 4 to 5 hours with meals in between. So I think staying power is quite decent.
My final thoughts
I am in love with this lipstick. The staying power, the shade and the texture, everything is so good about it. I have fair to medium skin tone which is becoming paler as fall is approaching. Right now I wear it when I don't want to do anything to rest of my face, as this lipstick instantly brightens up my face.I think this would be a great everyday fall shade for me. With a winged eyeliner and lots of mascara, it is going to be a great fall look. God I am so excited for fall!!
It doesn't dry out my lips but I feel that applying a lip balm prior to this would be better if you have dry lips.
The good...
- Very smooth texture
- Staying power is good
- This shade would flatter almost everyone
- Packaging is sleek and classy
- Pigmentation is great
- Doesn't dry out my lips

- You need to moisturize your lips if you have dry lips
- Sephora is not accessible to everyone in India
- A bit pricey(but worth every single penny)
Yes... I would also love to try other shades from this range
